The PC R series evaporators have a heating system based on a heat pump and operate under vacuum at 5kPa and around 30°C (86°F).
Heat exchange occurs within a conical jacket, and the boiling chamber inside part is cleaned by internal scrapers that continuously stir concentrate. This configuration is designed to produce a concentrate with a high final concentration and a distillate with low conductivity.

Angle encoders for rotary and tilting axes are indispensable for machine tools on which high positioning accuracy and a high machining rate are essential. Because angle encoder measure angular motion of the axis directly and immediately. Mechanical transfer elements therefore have no influence on position measurement, both kinematics errors and the influences of forces are measured by the angle encoder and considered in the position control loop. This can eliminate a number of potential error sources: Gear errors, reversal error, errors due to deformation of the drive mechanics by machining forces.

This machine comes in a one-piece construction that has been heat-treated to achieve maximum rigidity. The rails are thermal treated and precisely ground to reach hardness of more than HRC 60˚. Furthermore, options are available to adopt rails of various lengths to meet different knife grinding requirements. The machine length can be customized for specific needs from 1,600 to 4,000mm. Rough and finish grinding wheels can be controlled manually and automatically. The minimum grinding wheel downfeed amount is 0.005mm and the spindle is equipped with an automatic cooling system which ensures excellent cooling effect. The SSG-8 employs an automatic lubrication system for smoother operation and longer service life.

cooling effect for the knives.
